Major Problem For Tiger Woods!

Stigerwoodsdaughterlarge Tiger Woods won the US Open, but destroyed his knee

Taking time off to allow it to heal after surgery meant missing the US Open, not an option for Tiger - now he's going to have to take the rest of the year off!

Looks like his little lady, Sam Alexis, will enjoy a lot of daddy-time this year!

Tiger Woods and Me!

Tiger_woods I idolize Tiger Woods.  In my eyes, he is the consummate athlete; big, strong, boundless talent, and most impressive, continuous drive to get better.  I understand that drive.  When I was working on getting up in the world of squash, there was very little that could take me away from working out, 10 times a week.  I lived it. I breathed it.  I burnt through workout partners.  So I know and appreciate Tiger’s drive.

One of my last sports goals is to have a scratch golf game.  I watch Tiger play and say “I want to do that”.  And “I know I can do that!”  I won’t be able to beat him, ever, but I really believe I can do golf, when I get the time.  I keep thinking, I can do that chip, I can get out of the trap like that;  I will learn that flop shot.  We will have that in common… someday.

Then it happened.  We finally do have something in common!  I am so excited!

We both had our knees “scoped” last week, and will be back at our respective sports about 6 weeks from now.  Okay, it’s not as I had planned, but it’s a start!
