Imagine making it to the Olympics, but missing your race.....Zhang Liang made a heartbreaking mistake that prevented him from making his Olympic Dreams come true.

The Last Lecture author Randy Pausch, has died.
He was truly an inspiration!
Lopez Lomong is going to the Olympics. His long journey began at age 6 when he was kidnapped and separated from his parents and 5 siblings, so he could be trained as a child soldier. He escaped and ran straight into a refugee camp where he spent the next 10 years. Eventually he wound up in the US and has secured a spot on the US Olympic Team.
Having spent his entire "training" years sustaining on 1 meal a day and a virtual prisoner I can only imagine what he thinks about our American athletes who are so vocal about the "sacrifices" they had to make to become Olympians. I think it might be interesting to put Lopez and Dominique Moceanu in a room together so they can compare the hardships of training.
Here's a suggestion for all the Hollywood stars who have taken up the plight of Darfur (Lopez Lomong is a representative of Team Darfur). Mr. Lomong has a goal for his Olympic experience - that is to win a medal so he can afford to get his family out of the nightmare world they live in.....wouldn't it be so great if our wealthy stars would contribute to his mission regardless of the outcome of his race?!
NBC scored big when they got the Olympics, but this year coverage won't be so big!
Seems the Chinese Government has a few restrictions that limits what and when we can see the Olympics. Hoping to see some protests? Forget-about-it. Maybe interested in watching the opening ceremonies? Good Luck - they don't want to show anything that isn't "scripted" by them.
Looks like the IOC is regretting their decision to hold the games in China - they describe the negotiations as "contentious"....... what a bummer!
The best tennis match I've ever seen! It's amazing to watch Nadal and Federer and in the end, it really didn't matter who won...the level of play was awesome!
Venus and Serena Williams will have to play each other to find out the winner of Wimbledon this year...
Venus Williams is on fire!! She served the fastest women's tennis serve in history at Wimbledon today....watch out.
